Anti-Bullying Guidelines

It is the aim of the Parish to provide the young people of St. Anne’s with a venue that will be inclusive, respectful and supportive.

As part of this aim, it is suggested that all young people commit to the following guidelines, and adapt these to suit themselves with the addition of any other relevant points they feel necessary to note.

Key Elements:

  • Children and young people will be aware of the Code of Conduct that leaders have to adhere to.
  • The code should reflect the dignity and rights of each child and young person and it should encourage respectful behaviour.
  • Children and young people will treat each other and their leaders with courtesy, respect and 
  • Inappropriate language or sexually suggestive comments will not be 
  • Unruly behaviour will not be permitted at any time, some examples of which are:
    • Name calling
    • Fighting/kicking/punching
    • Making suggestive/sarcastic comments
    • Intimidation
    • Threatening behaviour or actions
    • Sending abusive text messages
    • Racial, ethnic or cultural comments
    • Damaging property
    • Excluding or ignoring
    • Spreading rumours.

Parental Consent/Registration Forms are available from the parish office for each activity children are active in.  (Altar Servers / Readers, etc)
